Volant 300

In October CoolCat Mag Online decided to create a new project for the 2007 show season.
After a long and vigorous debate, we decided on a 2007 Chrysler 300C. We picked it
up on October 15 so naturally I figured we’d start to send our ideas to the design artist and like normal he would send a rough sketches back to us and
we'll makes some changes and back and forth usually takes about one month if you're
lucky.
Well he came back with such a good rendering, we knew right away this has to
be
built with no changes! Well, we were still trying to get the Hummer ready for
SEMA on October 29, then Hot Import Nights called up and said they have two spots
they want us to fill this year, so I started to think, can we come back from SEMA
on November 3 and start to build the new 300C by Roll in time on November 17
for the VIP Auto Fashion?
Well it took one week of well thought out planning. We sent it out to paint on
November 10 and got it back in the morning on November 16. That gave us two days
to finish the 300C and to get the suspension, intake, catback exhaust, accessories,
tint, rims & tires - basically the whole exterior done. Well with the hard
work of all our sponsors we did it, with only a few little hiccups! Anyways that’s
a whole different feature!
So here is one of those hard working sponsors that put the magic touch
on this one sick ride!
Volant Cool Air Intakes - they put on their cold air intake and dual catback
exhaust system onto our 300. This system is for straight performance and quality. If you want
loud noise, use some other brand. We noticed an obvious gain on acceleration and
when my father got in and took control of it, it sounded insane from the outside - almost
comparable to a European sports sedan.
We arrived late for our appointment but the staff at Volant still accommodated
us with enthusiasm, got us in and out - talk about being efficient!
Volant started in early 1998 with their patented in closed box design with features
like polished aluminum lids, bolts on to factory positions, and silicone sleeves.
If you want one of these systems on your ride here’s the part number for
the 2007 Chrysler 300C: # 16857152 filter # 512.
If you want to purchase some cool gear or some official maintaince products go
to there online store at www.volantperformance.com and keep a look out for some exciting new products coming from Volant like their
new systems for the new 4 door Jeeps models and some new retooling on there current
systems!
