CoolCat Mag wins GM Sema Design Award!

CoolCat Mag’s Hummer H3, Green Envy , was awarded GM’s top design award at a special awards breakfast. Kip Wasenko, Director of GM Design, Special Vehicles, and Robert Kern of GM, presented the highly-coveted Fourth Annual ‘Best GM SUV,’ to the CoolCat Team for its 2006 Hummer H3 - handcrafted by some of the hottest custom shops in Southern California.

“In a crowded field of restyled GM products at SEMA this year, the CoolCat’s Green Envy literally stole the Show,” said Kip Wasenko.

Citing the H3’s “extraordinary design, execution, attention to detail and flawless fit and finish,” Kip presented the Design Award to Albert and Nick Lopez and the CoolCat Team on behalf of General Motors. The whole CoolCat Team would like to take this time to thank everyone involved with this Project. White Motorsports for all there hard work and labor, MKW for the rims that completed the look of the H3, Kru Induastries for some sick one-off billet accessories, Alphasonik for one extremaly insane audio system, Kustom Koncepts for install on that audio system, Stichcraft for the insane interior, Hot Rod Graphics for restylin’ all the sponsor Graphics, Merzee's Paint & Body for the design of the crazy paint scheme, Aries Offroad for some awesome billet accessories, Mac Performance for the trick intake, Magnaflow for the custom dual exhaust, Fierce for some crazy billet details, Mikes Tint Shop for keeping us cool in the shade, Precision Grills for that touch of class, and all our car care products provided by Megauirs.

The CoolCat Mag H3 Hummer dubbed "Green Envy," a collaborative effort of some of the most talented craftsmen in Southern California, will be immortalized by the JL Full Throttle team as a Rock Rigs die-cast vehicle. Look for it on store shelves in 2007.
